What Linda’s Students
Have to Say
Dear Mrs. Hobar,
I wanted to thank you for initially answering your calling as a teacher. Truly, I believe this is what you were meant to be. I am so glad that when my mom mentioned your class months ago, that I said yes to being a part of it. My only regret is that I didn’t do your class two years ago. You have taught me so much not just about history, but about life. You are the most personable teacher I have ever had. I don’t know why but from the moment I started class you gave me peace. You are kind, compassionate, understanding, and most of all you love the Lord and you aren’t afraid to proclaim His name and be a light for Him. You’ve made me want to be a brighter light toward others. You’ve helped grow my love and appreciation of the people from history. I’m going to miss you and this class so much. Thanks for everything.
With much gratitude and love,
~Annabelle M. (Live Class of 2019-2020)
The Mystery of History online class is an excellent introduction to modern world history. Full of reviews, activities and mapping work, it is easy to remember the history taught. In addition, as anyone who has used The Mystery of History before knows, Mrs. Hobar has an excellent and entertaining ‘conversational style’ of writing, that draws the reader into the unfolding historical narrative, and her lectures have the same engaging style. The in-class lectures are helpful and provide significantly more detail on the historical events. Finally, Mrs. Hobar is always willing to discuss history with her students both in and out of class.
All in all, The Mystery of History Volume IV Online Class is excellent, and I would highly recommend it.

FANTASTIC class- full of relevant information. Mrs. Hobar’s class pages and expectations were clearly laid out. Her lectures were fantastic, and she clearly is an expert. How wonderful to have the author teach this content!
~Jackson G. (Self-Paced Class of 2017-2018)
Mrs. Hobar, I would love to stay in touch with you and I hope you continue to teach history for many more years. (There are very few history teachers like you.) You are so much more than a teacher to me, Mrs. Hobar. Thank you for investing in me and all of your students!
~Jaina S. (Live Class of 2017-2018; 2018-2019)
I can say that you changed my resolution of not liking World History, which was probably a tough task! I can say with full confidence that I have gained such a new sense of appreciation and respect for it, which I can’t thank you enough for! I will always remember how much effort you put into teaching our class and how much of a Godly woman you are!
