Volume III Self-Paced Course Week 13 (FREE)

Enrichment (about 1 hour):

Activities (10-30 min):

Activity 39D—Armor of God. I find it difficult to ignore the spiritual warfare described by John Knox. What does the Bible say about combating spiritual warfare? In Ephesians 6:10–18, we’re told to put on the full armor of God! Let’s diagram this concept—using a piece of foil to remind us of armor!

Materials: Bible, foil, Sharpie, clear plastic sleeve

  1. Turn to Ephesians 6:14–17 to identify six pieces of spiritual armor and their corrsponding

attributes of faith (e.g., belt: truth).

  2. Tear a sheet of foil just a little smaller than a piece of notebook paper.

  3. Use a Sharpie to diagram a soldier with the pieces of armor from the passage. (This can be very simple!)

  4. Identify each piece of armor by its matching attribute of faith. This activity is simple, but I hope it helps you remember the armor of God!

  5. Slide the diagram into a clear plastic sleeve to store in your Student Notebook under “Miscellaneous.”

Literature (15-30 min):

You have two weeks left in this quarter to still choose an outside book to enrich your studies.  It’s not too late to choose a short one! (Page numbers are provided.)
